Blooms on Broadway=Your Capitol Hill Florist
Posted on 29. Apr, 2010 by admin in Uncategorized

For those of you that don’t know, Blooms on Broadway, moved from our location on Broadway back in November ‘09. The same local owner that owns Capitol Hill Flower and Garden on 15th, owns Blooms as well. So, it seemed only natural to consolidate their flower shops into the bigger location at 300 15th Ave E; Seattle, WA 98112.
The change has been hard. It was a tough decision, a necessary one, but tough nonetheless. I can tell you that as an employee of these awesome people that has worked at both locations, Broadway will always hold a special place in my heart, but 15th Ave E is pretty fantastic! The flower shop is bigger, more room to move around in, still an awesome selection of flowers, more cool vases/glassware, more plush, more cards, more plants, more balloons, more knowledgeable people!
So, if you’re a Blooms fan, you really should come check us out up on 15th. I know it seems like it’s soooooooo far away, but it really isn’t. Come on, support your awesome local florist (you know who you are!) instead of that big chain store (you know who they are). We’d love to see you. OR you can always call us(206-324-8845), I’m always happy to hear from you.
Administrative Professional’s Day, April 21st, 2010; Say “thanks” with flowers from Blooms!
Posted on 20. Apr, 2010 by admin in Uncategorized
I had an assistant in the shop the other day purchase flowers for his boss, whom sent their intentions via an email. I was pleased to see this person in our little family shop, ordering flowers from a local biz. Everything was neatly organized (as an assistant should be), all we had to do was discuss the type of flowers, occasion, and cost. As we do try to make things easy for our clients.
At the end of the sale, I reminded him that Administrative Professional’s Day was just around the corner..Wed, April 21st to be exact. We joked a bit and then he said..”well, flowers just aren’t in the budget…we’ll probably do a lunch.” And this got me thinking. I know that flowers in the workplace actually have been proven to make the workplace more enjoyable.
A delivery of fresh flowers from a locally owned and operated flower shop to your assistant would make sense…on more than one level. It’s a great way to say “thank you for a job well done” and it makes being in the workplace nicer. I love my job, but I’m surrounded by beauty all day long..shouldn’t you be? Order from us today!! 206-324-8845 or online www.flower4gift.com
We also have a nice selection of balloons, plants, and gifts. Come check us out 300 15th ave E (aka: Capitol Hill Flowers) and of course we deliver to all Seattle metro and surrounding areas.
